A classical photo yet masterfully executed. The crispness of the maple leaves against the soft, blurred background works perfectly. I find the colours quite unusual as you often see only two main ones in this type of photo. Here, however, is a gradient of blue, green and red/yellow. The fact that the background also corresponds to the leaves and stems makes the colour profile of this image perfect.

I would however have liked to see a slightly larger depth of focus to include all the leaves in that perfect sharpness to further accentuate the contrast between foreground and background.

I would also like to add that when browsing the popular deviations this was an immediate eye-catcher.
